On September 24, a lively discussion took place during the budget commission meeting of the Irpin City Council regarding the salaries and staffing of the executive committee. Six months ago, inflated salaries within the council were exposed.
In April, the city council deputies voted to cut the executive committee’s salary fund by 11 million UAH for the rest of the year. However, this decision did not affect the salaries of certain employees, who continue to receive 80,000, 100,000, 120,000, or more UAH monthly.
Currently, the executive committee has run out of salary funds and requested an additional 19 million UAH to cover salaries until the year’s end.
How the city council’s executive committee continued paying astronomical salaries despite budget limits—find out from the direct statement of Irpin City Council deputy Andrii Litvinov.
