During the New Year holidays, the duties of the Mayor of Irpin are being carried out by the mayor’s advisor, Hennadii Yavorovskyi, instead of a deputy mayor, as per the directive of Oleksandr Markushyn. This marks the first time in Irpin’s history that such responsibilities have been delegated to an advisor. Yavorovskyi, who received a salary of UAH 66,250 in June, faced allegations during his tenure in Kyiv City Administration (KMDA) of attempting to destroy the capital’s “X-Park.”
Hennadii Yavorovskyi is a protégé of Markushyn’s former father-in-law, Oleksandr Badrudinov, a controversial figure and owner of an illegal landfill in the Borodianka community.
The State Audit Service of Ukraine has recognized millions in damages caused by the operations of Badrudinov’s Borodianka landfill.
Borodianka Village Council Secretary Iryna Zakharchenko opposed Badrudinov’s corrupt activities in Borodianka, leading to a conflict that he ultimately lost. No one wants to support the “stinking issue” of Badrudinov’s illegal landfill.
It is worth noting that despite an official ban on dumping household waste at the notorious landfill in the village of Nove Zalisia, Borodianka community, the equipment of UTIL-SERVICE LLC, headed by Oleksandr Badrudinov, continues to deliver tons of waste, causing irreparable harm to the environment and the community. This activity has been sanctioned by Village Head Oleksandr Sakharuk since November 1, 2024.
