On Wednesday, July 24, the Irpin City Council held a large meeting of city council members with the city leadership, with the participation of department heads and structural subdivisions of the executive committee. It was initiated after the so-called “salary scandal” related to inflated salaries of employees of the executive committee and the refusal of the mayor of Irpen, Oleksandr Markushin, to bring to the session of the city council the proposal of the deputies and the secretary of the council regarding the optimization of the staff of the executive committee of the IMR and the reduction of bonuses for employees.
