Ivan Kipish has once again become the chief architect of the Irpin community. The corresponding order was issued by Oleksandr Markushyn.
Earlier, Ivan Kipish was suspended from his position during an internal investigation. Later, he submitted a resignation letter.
To recap, Ivan Kipish was appointed head of the Urban Planning and Architecture Department of the Irpin City Council in May 2024. In January 2025, he was accused of issuing a number of illegal urban planning conditions and restrictions — in particular, concerning development near the Krynychka nature reserve and the construction of high-rise buildings in the city’s private housing areas. He was also the official who issued the planning permits for the construction of a water park near the city embankment, which was criticized by local activists, including Nataliia Vasylenko.
